During our New England trip we spent a few days in New Hampshire, a state I'd never visited before!
We had a lot of fun in Portsmouth, and especially enjoyed the historical houses at Strawberry Banke Museum. Look for some paintings of them to come!
In search of red barns and other fall scenes, we made a trip one day to Hollis New Hampshire, a small pretty town west of Portsmouth. I was familiar with the Hollis Ice House through my painting friends, and decided it was worth taking a couple hours to stop and paint it. And so I did.
