I've always admired the homes along Marmion way in Rockport, Massachusetts. I think it would be impossible to choose a favorite, but if I could choose one, it might be this one. Ivy cascades down the pillars that flank the porch off the front of the house, and the beds of roses and hydrangeas are prolific all summer long.
This is my interpretation of the pretty scene- painted with brush and palette knife from a photo I took this past summer while I was there.
