TeaTime- impressionist still life

Tea Time, 12x16, oil on gallery-wrapped canvas

This still life painting was done in an impressionist style. The brushwork in the painting is very painterly and I limited my palette to the beautiful combinations produced with burnt sienna and alizarin crimson. The greens are in the sap family , and overall it's a very subtle piece.

Your work is lovely. I especially love the colors. I am a big fan of the impressionist. You have definitely made the right career choice. Best of luck!
